The Future of Agriculture is Taking Shape in Salihli
The Manisa Salihli Organized Agricultural Zone (OTB) is a visionary development project established to combine the agricultural production power of Manisa and the Aegean Region with high technology and innovative practices. Our zone, which gained legal entity status with the approval and support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, blends traditional agricultural culture with the smart technologies of the future.
Rising on a massive area of approximately 2 million square meters (1,874,800 m²) within the boundaries of Durasıllı Neighborhood in Salihli, the OTB represents one of Turkey's most modern and environmentally friendly agricultural-industrial integration models.
Uninterrupted Production for 12 Months with Geothermal Energy
The greatest strength of our region is Salihli's rich geothermal resource potential. Thanks to our smart greenhouse operations heated with geothermal energy, a renewable and clean energy source, uninterrupted and high-efficiency production is achieved for 12 months of the year, regardless of climatic conditions. Designed with full commitment to sustainability principles, this modern production infrastructure supports environmentally friendly green agriculture by minimizing carbon footprint while conserving natural resources.
Economic Value, Employment Empowerment: When
Salihli OTB (Organic Industrial Zone) becomes fully operational, it will not only be a production base but also the biggest engine of regional development.
Our Project Includes: 3,500 Direct Employments: We are creating job opportunities that prioritize the employment of the local population, especially women.
High Value-Added Production: We aim to produce 80,000 to 96,000 tons of high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables annually.
Billions of Lira in Economic Contribution: With our strong production and export potential, we aim to provide an average of 2.5 to 3 billion TL of added value to the national economy annually.
